We would like to welcome Nik Brown as our Parish Office Administrator. He began on July 8th. The Summer Office Hours are:
Monday -8 am-12 pm
Tuesday -8 am-12 pm
Wednesday - 9 am-1pm
Thursday - 9 am-1 pm
Friday - 9 am-12 pm
Our Sexton has resigned last week. We are looking for a replacement. Please contact Debbie Vineyard 732-213-4874 or Jim Perez 732-236-5776 if you are aware of anyone who is interested in this position or can assist with these responsibilities until a replacement is found.
Priest in Charge Candidate – A preliminary Zoom interview with a candidate was done this week. The Vestry was provided with the candidate’s information and is discerning regarding a full vestry interview.
Audit – St. Peter’s is on the process of conducting their audit.

A meeting will be held for Lay leadership on Thursday via Zoom, which Vestry Members plan on attending. We will keep you posted.
Resources – If you have any resources that may assist our parishioners, pantry participants, or community, please forward to the Communications Committee (t.montani@comcast.net) and Office Administrator (office@stpetersepiscopal.com), so we can post and advise those in need of assistance.
Coffee Hour – Volunteers are needed for July through September to provide snacks, coffee and tea. A sign-up sheet is posted outside the Parish Hall Office. A special thank you to those who continued with this ministry. We could not continue our fellowship after services without your kindness.
Upcoming Perth Amboy Activities
National Night Out - St Peter’s will have an information table at the National Night Out 2024 on Tuesday, August 6th. This is a community event to increase awareness about police programs in the community. It also highlights the areas local civic groups, businesses, religious groups and other organizations.
Time- 6:00-9:00pm
Location -Washington Park, New Brunswick Avenue and Lee Street, Perth Amboy
We will need some volunteers to help. If you can give an hour or two, please contact Debbie Vineyard 732-213-4874 or Jim Perez 732-236-5776.
Concerts by the Bay is back through August 4th. Concerts begin at 3pm at Bayview Park. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the music. Jackie Mulligan, our Choir Director, will be performing on July 28th.
Free Movie Nights in Perth Amboy – July 26th at 7pm, Wonka will be viewed at the Bay City Amphitheater and August 23rd at 7pm Wish will be viewed at the Patten Center Park.
