Weddings
Marriage or Holy Matrimony is one of the most rewarding and challenging of human relationships. When you get married in the church you are saying yes to living out your marriage before God and in a community of faith where you can be supported by the church community now and in the future. If you live out of town, we will invite and encourage you to find a community that will support you in your life together.
If you would like to be married at St. Peter’s, it is important you contact our rector, at least 4 months before you plan to be married to reserve the date and allow enough time for the preparation. Also, if you have never worshiped at St. Peter's, please do so before calling the office. Preparation includes 5 to 8 sessions with one of our clergy. Permission from the bishop is required if you have been divorced. Couples are asked to be in church the five Sundays before they are married to join with us as we pray for your upcoming wedding.
