The Rev. Dr. Fabian Villalobos
The Rev. Dr. Fabian Villalobos joyfully serves as Rector of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. Prior to relocating to St. Peter’s, Fr. Fabian served as the 15th Rector of Christ Episcopal Church in Dallas, Texas.
Fabian+ was ordained priest in 2002 in the Roman Catholic Church in Italy. Upon ordination, he immediately began serving as Rector of two Italian congregations along with holding diocesan and social organizational positions. After a lengthy period of discernment and prayerful reflection, Fr. Fabian moved from Italy to the United States where he has dedicated his energy to growing in the richness of the Anglican Communion. During his reception process into the Episcopal Church, he served as Youth Director and as Parish Administrator of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Irving, Texas.
Upon completion of seminary studies in Bogota, Colombia, Fabian+ attained a B.A. in Philosophy; and later in Rome, Italy, he earned a License in Systematic Theology and a M.A. in Ecumenism with a focus on Comparative Religions. Father Villalobos is a Doctor of Ministry (DMin) graduate from Fuller School of Theology in Pasadena, California, U.S.A.
Reverend Villalobos serves as a Mentor for Trinity Church Wall Street Leadership Fellows. He served on the Board of Trustees of the Episcopal Foundation of Dallas; as Convenor for the Sewanee: University of the South Ministry Collaborative; and as Advisory Board Member for Bishop Arts STEAM Academy. Having served as Program Coordinator for The Episcopal Church Latino/Hispanic Ministry biennial conference Nuevo Amanecer 2024, Fr. Villalobos was elected to serve as Co-Director for Nuevo Amanecer 2026 at the Kanuga Conference Center in Hendersonville, North Carolina.
Fabian+ and his wife DeeAnn enjoy reading and studying together, going to the cinema, traveling, and spending time with their children and grandchildren.
Simon Mulligan, organist
British pianist Simon Mulligan is, according to the Times of London “the most abudantly gifted of pianists”, to Steinway & Sons he is “the world’s most versatile pianist”; Pulitzer prizewinning composer Paul Moravec calls him “a pianist with complete mastery of the instrument”, while Herbie Hancock says “You have a phenomenal touch, man!” In addition to his extensive discography and vast repertoire, Mulligan’s solo work gains praise from critics and audiences alike, and his collaborations include performances and recordings with Yehudi Menuhim, Joshua Bell, Leonard Slatkin, and Sting. He has performed all over the world, most notably at Carnegie Hall in New York, the Wigmore Hall and Royal Albert Hall in London, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, as well as private performancees for Her Majesty the Queen and President Barack Obama. His keen interest in film composition led to a long association with composer Michael Kamen, culminating in his performace on the soundtrack to Spielberg’s Band of Brothers. He has led his own jazz quartet since he was thirten, which has performed in major international festivals. His eclectic work has led to profiles in Downbeat, JazzTimes, BBC Music, Classic fM, and Gramophone magazines among others. Simon is a recipient of the prestigious Fellowship of the Royal Academy of Music, and his teachers include Alexander Kelly, Murray Perahia, Alfred Brendel and Alexis Weissenberg.
jacqueline Mulligan, soloist
American Soprano Jacqueline Mulligan was only nineteen when she received her first professional orchestral engagement with the Louisville Orchestra. Often characterized as a singer from the “Golden Age”, she has appeared throughout the United States and Europe delighting audiences not only with opera and musical theater but with the songs from times forgotten. A winner of th Emerging AR\rtists Award from the Business Committee for the Arts, Jacqueline has appeared on Broadway with the City Center “Encores” series in Music in the Air, Face the Music, and Of Thee I Sing and has been featured at the Lincoln Center performing music from the bygone eara of Broadway. Her opera roles include: the three heroines in The Tales of Hoffman, manon in Massenet’s Manon, Viletta in Verdi’s La Traviata, Lucia in Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor, Musetta in La Boheme, Adina in L’Elisir D’Amore, Gilda in Rigoletto and the title role in Carilisle Floyd’s Susannah.
